Ben Larzabal

Ben Larzabal is a founding Partner of Healthy Leading where he consults with clients on organizational health and change management—leading offsites, training teams and advising leaders. A trained leadership coach focused on growth and success, Ben provides one-on-one coaching to executives and senior leaders to help ensure they live up to their personal and professional potential.

In addition, Ben is responsible for the growth of the firm; he directs marketing, finance, continuous process improvements, and the design of new products and services.

Ben is an innovative strategist who has built and directed high performance creative teams for companies and non-profit organizations—including his own boutique consultancy. Ben keenly leverages first-hand experience as a successful entrepreneur with advanced training to inform internal business strategies for clients.

Ben holds a M.A. in Global Leadership from Bakke Graduate University and a BA from Dallas Baptist University where he studied Communications. He is a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Ben’s native languages are Spanish and English.

Ben lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and daughter where he is active member in their church, St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church. Is also involved in the local startup community, mentoring small business

David Simpson

As one of our founding Principal Consultants, David is a trusted advisor to an impressive portfolio of organizations. His passion for organizational health has helped him to build a strong reputation for delivering results and facilitating lasting, transformative change. His clients span a broad spectrum, including technology, public sector, health care and ministry organizations.

Prior to starting Healthy Leading, David spent 18 years as a Principal consultant with Table Group Consulting, helping executive teams and organizations to quickly and effectively apply the concepts captured in all of Pat Lencioni’s books through facilitation, coaching and change management. He also spent 20+ years in Information Technology prior to joining Table Group Consulting. Previously leading the globalization of Avaya’s Services Offerings and aggressively expanding their International Services business. David holds a B.A. from the University of Glasgow.

In addition to his consulting work, David serves on the Board of Cornerstone NCT, a non-profit empowering neighbors in need. He also leads the Justice Task Force – a Unity Table ministry advocating for justice and racial equity.

He and his wife Shona came to the United States from Scotland in 1993 and are blessed to have five children and two grandkids. They live in Oak Point, TX and they are active partners of One Community Church.

Dawn Stephens

Dawn Stephens, JD, is a founding partner of Healthy Leading where she serves as a Principal Consultant and General Counsel. With more than 15 years of experience practicing law in firms, corporate and nonprofit environments, Dawn has considerable expertise in identifying, navigating and addressing issues including those related to diversity, equity and inclusion. Her passion for optimizing organizational health stems from scrutinizing how culture affects the success of individuals and teams.

Dawn is a lifelong learner, passionate about encouraging growth in others and herself. She is a registered patent attorney and member of the state bar of Texas. She holds a JD from the University of Georgia School of Law, a MS from Rice University and a BA from Clark Atlanta University. She is a trained Presence-Based® coach who loves helping others overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Though a Dallas resident, Dawn enjoys traveling and experiencing the food of local cultures. She is a partner of One Community Church and a member of Social Venture Partners. Dawn lives to make memorable moments with her family, friends, colleagues, and individuals she serves.
